1-4 players

The game
Enter a house where an evil entity roams. It's hunt or be hunted. Use your equipment to gain information you can use to exorcise the unholy spirit. But beware, spending too much time inside the haunted house may have fatal consequences...

PvP CO-OP
The game can be played online together with other people, or by yourself. As you start the game, one of the players will be selected to become the ghost. The remaining players will have to cooperate to get rid of it. However, you will have to stay on your toes as the ghost can attack back.

If you play solo, the ghost will be controlled by an AI.

Items

ThermometerIs used to find the Place of Death.
Use it around the house to find a
temperature below 15 degrees.
Geiger counter
Hold it near objects to see if
there is any radiation present.
A reading of 0.200 or more is
strong evidence of the cursed
object.
EMF reader
When an object with radiation
is placed in the Place of Death,
hold the EMF reader above it to
check for readings. If you get a
reading of 4 or more, you have
the cursed object. If not, use the
geiger counter to find another
radioactive object.
MatchboxRight-click to ignite a match on
top of the cursed object inside
the Place of Death to exorcise
the spirit and win the game.

Playing as ghost
Interact with the environment to scare the ghost hunters. Pick up orbs to gain energy to be able to scare players by throwing objects, turning off lights, creating sounds etc. When you scare them enough, you can pick up a red energy orb to start a hunt. The ghost hunters have three seconds to run and hide to avoid being killed. As a ghost, you win by running into and killing all the ghost hunters.

You need to have someone else join the game with you, then you go on the computer and make sure ghost selection is not set on "AI"

when will the game released?

Probably not for a while, I paused the project to work on Envelope

noooo!

when will the game come out?

I am close to a demo. This will only be accessed by content creators to begin with. But I think I will release somewhere around June possibly.

Hi. I'm working on a project that requires gathering a large number of generic game snapshots. The snapshots aren't meant to display any specific copyrighted content, and they aren't very big - all of them are 416x110 pixels. I wanted to ask your permission to use some of your images to create a some of these snapshots. Thanks!

Hey! That sounds interesting. We have no problem with you using our screenshots for your project :) What kind of a project are you working on if I may ask?

I'm developing a new Windows game launcher that makes it easier to set up controllers and play PC games in a living room. This launcher will be able to run any game, right from the first day, so it doesn't have a "greenlighting process". However, since there's no greenlighting process, that also means that games won't automatically inject information about themselves into the menu system (like the name of the game, or a snapshot). Users will have the option to enter in the name, or upload a snapshot, or both. In theory, if the launcher were to become popular enough, developers might start taking the initiative, by including the name and snapshot of the game themselves - however, I only want that to be an option, not a requirement. I also want users to have the option to download "generic snapshots" which are images that don't specifically tie to a particular game, but instead "look close enough" to what's in the game. For example, a snapshot of Diddy Kong would not be a generic snapshot, but an image of pirate ship, or palm tree, or a barrel would be. The more generic images I amass, the better the initial experience will be. If you have "scrap content" from a game that didn't make the final draft, that might be useful for building a generic snapshot as well. Let me know if you can produce anything. Thanks!

cant it be made 2 vs ghost

If you are three players, it will be 2 vs ghost. There will always be exactly one ghost.

awesome game! i love playing this and it is so fun to be ghost, but one thing i dont really like is when pressing esc it quits the game entirely. other than that, i love it. i really like the concept of gathering everything and burning a specific item in a specific place. keep up the great work! :D

Thank you for your kind reply! I appreciate the feedback. The esc issue is something that will be fixed in the next patch, which will be released this week. I know it can be very frustrating 😂

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the game 😊
